When your plan doesn't go according to plan.

You ever have that happen to you? You ever make a detailed plan of what should happen; hour by hour, minute by minute? It's in the calendar, with a full to do list, but somehow, some way, something goes left. With that one that goes left it trickles down and changes your entire schedule that you had planned for the day, week, or month.

Well this happened to me this past weekend. I had everything planned out. But I had a surprise visit from an old friend. And we had to catch up. I had to say no to my design work because my friend is important to me.

Reconnecting felt good. It reminded me why we were friends in the first place. We spent time reminiscing over past memories and catching up with what is happening currently in our lives.

It's ok that my plans changed. It's important to leave room to let that happen. A tight schedule won't allow you - or me - to breathe and let life happen in its own course.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I'm thankful for each day that I am blessed with.

I'm in the process of practicing, being my own client. I'm documenting everything and will do a full case study to share with you soon. In the mean time I'd love to hear from you. What are you thankful for? How will you be spending the holiday weekend?

Hit reply so I can hear from you!

Show Gratitude, always.

Enjoy the holiday weekend, and I can't wait to hear back from you!
